NetWorkShop LinkedIn and Social Media

On April 25, the French American Chamber of Commerce of the Carolinas partnered with SKEMA Business School to organize a presentation on LinkedIn and social media. The event took place at the school and was well attended. Some 40 professionals joined a group of students to watch the presentation then gathered in the school lounge for the reception. All present truly enjoyed this networking moment and asked for more!

SKEMA Business School is a global business school headquartered in Paris with 3 campuses in France, 1 in China, 1 in Brazil, 1 in the USA in Raleigh, NC. On April 25 we learnt that SKEMA is planning to open another campus in Africa very soon. In Raleigh SKEMA has a partnership with NCSU and is located on their campus.

The students at SKEMA come from 100 countries, and can spend a semester or more on all the world campuses in order to get their masters degrees. SKEMA's Master of Financial Markets and investment has been ranked 6th in the world for several years by the Financial Times, and attracts top  students. SKEMA alumni count some senior VIPS from around the world such as  Mr. Jean-Philippe Courtois, EVP and president, Microsoft Global Sales, Marketing & Operations (SKEMA 1983).

SKEMA students who spend a year on the Raleigh campus can get an OPT visa and work or intern for a year in the USA. Their visas are sponsored by SKEMA. The 2019  graduates are currently looking for jobs and internships.
