Dear readers,
We hope you are all safe and want to reassert that during this time of crisis we are tirelessly supporting our partners.
We are continuing to be connected via phone, email and virtual conference room to provide advice and support to all of you. Do not hesitate to call! We are at your service!
We are also taking extra steps to provide help to our small businesses and those impacted most by the pandemic, but all size companies will find something in our offerings.
This week FACCC member Paulette Ashlin, an expert and published author on Leadership training is doing a webinar on " Leadership in times of Crisis and After." Last week we partnered with member Nexsen Pruet' for a webinar on COVID-19 and the diverse financial aids to small businesses and nonprofits, and this week they will host a webinar on " Managing the Workplace in a Pandemic: complying with the new COVID -19 Families Act, Paid Sick and Family Leave Acts, Best Practices, etc." Check our webinars in the newsletter or on our website: www.facccarolinas.com.
Our FACC national network is also opening their webinars to our members and partners so please check our Facebook and Linkedin pages to find more webinars.
Contact us if you would like to offer a webinar idea, to host a webinar or to participate in a webinar. And do not forget to support your local and state French or French-American businesses! Look on our website for names of businesses and what services they offer.
In May we will open our conference room to networking opportunities for students at our member colleges and universities (SKEMA Business School, Clemson, University of South Carolina, NC State University) and for our members who want to connect and use this time to expand their networks. Our event team is also planning some fun events to provide some well deserved relief. Check your email for dates and content.
Like most organizations, the French-American Chamber of Commerce has been strongly impacted by the crisis. We are a non-profit (501(c)6, non-eligible for the CARES Act) and we do not receive or depend on any support from any government or governmental organization. We only live from our memberships and our events. Since we no longer have income-producing events and all our webinars so far are free and open to all, we ask that you seriously consider helping us via the following:
• When registering to an event, make a donation. Several options are available on the registration page • Signing up for a membership • Contact us to make a custom donation.
We thank you in advance!….
Be safe!
