Dear subscribers,
The last month has been very active at the chamber: The new team of the Triangle French Techies who are vying to become La French Tech of the Triangle had their first event and it was wildly successful. Read about it and join if you are in the tech business. The label is very prized, they are on a good way to get it and the FACCC team is lending their support. We are actively preparing the visit of the Ambassador to the United States, His Excellency Philippe Etienne. This will be a very busy visit with a meeting with Governor Cooper, a visit of FACCC member bioMerieux, a visit of Duke Univeristy and Centennial campus at NC State, and 2 receptions: one on the 19th of February, for the Francophone and Francophile communities, and one on the 20th for the Business Community. We hope a lot of people will attend these free receptions; we need to demonstrate that the French community is vibrant in NC, and on the 20th we need to show our support to the French Techies of the Triangle in their bid to get the official French Tech label. Do not forget to register, space is limited (follow the links on the website or in the newsletter). Read about all our other events in South Carolina in Columbia and Greenville, and plan to join us on February 18 for a lunch conference about immigration in Columbia. We are looking forward to seeing you soon! Best regards,
Marie-Claire Ribeill Executive Director
