Dear members and readers,

The FACCC’s Board of Directors and Executive Team wish you all a Happy New Year!

We wish you Good Health, Success and Happiness

2020 has been a tough year for everybody around the world and we can all agree we are happy to finally be in 2021.

We project a great year that will end with a bang with a big conference in the Queen city: Charlotte, NC, crowned by our Business Awards Gala.

We are launching our 2021 membership renewal campaign, and hope you will continue to support the Chamber. We need your support to continue serving the French-American Business Community in our region.

In December we were happy to have recruited new members CPA firm Hughes Pittman and Gupton LLC who helped us create Business plan templates for French companies coming to NC, and French company Kompass; read about how they can help you recruit new business through their amazing data base and a 20% discount for being a member of the chamber.

We also welcomed Engstrom Law, PLLC. Engstrom Law focuses on providing services to small and mid-sized businesses. Having lived in France twice, Elliott Engstrom is proficient in French. He can help manage a business's relationship with local state or government entities (economic development, land use, public contracts,…). He can draft and file formation, registration, and other business documents with the North Carolina Secretary of State. He can further assist with drafting or reviewing contracts with vendors and other businesses.

Watch our latest podcasts and do not miss our truly entertaining and educative Webinar about Beaujolais by wine connoisseur and importer Jean-Pierre Chambas from Columbia, SC. See our Beaujolais Nouveau Pictures of a very successful outdoor event at the Maison de France in
Raleigh, NC.

I would like to extend special thanks to my amazing executive team: the Business Development team: Gérard Auvergne and Alain Meyran, our Executive Events manager Raphaële Moreau-Horwin, our financier Cédric de Carpentrie, and our intern Kelly Burns.

Our President Philippe Legris, our Board members, our wonderful executive Team and myself wish you the Best for 2021!

Best regards,

Marie-Claire Ribeill

Executive Director

Honorary Consul of France
